How do people generally find compatible roommates?
If you are living in residence in first year, the university provides an extensive survey for you to fill out. The survey includes questions about your personality, religion, special accommodations, etc. The university generally does a great job at matching roommates. If you have additional concerns, you can always contact McMaster Housing Services. Students generally move off campus in second year with friends they met during first year. Students who wish to live off campus in first year can often find compatible roommates on Facebook.
Paid Internships
Hillel Ontario offers various paid internships on a year-to-year basis on each of its campuses. Possible internship opportunities include Operations Interns, Influencer Interns, and Engagement Interns (including Russian-speaking and Israeli engagement opportunities). New internships begin at the start of either the spring or the fall semester, so please check our website throughout the year for application details.
