Any of the suite-style residences are most popular amongst Jewish students, especially Elgin and Essex. Other housing populated by Jewish students is just south of Richmond and Oxford.

How do people generally find compatible roommates?

Some first-year Jewish students live with peers they knew from home. Upperyear students often meet their future roommates in residence or through classes or co-curricular involvements. Western Hillel and Hillel Ontario also offer ‘Classifieds’ Facebook groups where students can seek roommates as well as furniture for their apartments.

Paid Internships

Hillel Ontario offers various paid internships on a year-to-year basis on each of its campuses. Possible internship opportunities include Operations Interns, Influencer Interns, and Engagement Interns (including Russian-speaking and Israeli engagement opportunities). New internships begin at the start of either the spring or the fall semester, so please check our website throughout the year for application details.
